KIS: Art in Spaarndam is a 2-day art event right next to Haarlem in the picturesque village of Spaarndam.
In the last weekend of May, the village turns into a major cultural happening in which local artists exhibit their work at many special locations. KIS offers the opportunity to take a look at monumental buildings, local studios or the artists' homes. KIS is a very intimate and unique event.
Founded by volunteers; KIS offers creativity, art, theater and live music for people of all ages and backgrounds. Within cycling distance from Haarlem, KIS is an inspiring and free day out for the whole family.
