My generation

My Generation is a collaboration between Amstelring Daycare and Cpunt. Every month there is a choice of several fun activities. Every Thursday afternoon you are welcome in the Cpunt Café for a drink, a chat and of course a picture. The program is varied, with live music, lectures and various workshops.

Have you ever wanted to sing in a rock choir? Every Thursday we sing our hearts out, under the inspiring leadership of conductor Boris Kothuis, known for the pop choirs in Haarlem, Hoofddorp and Amstelveen. You are very welcome to join. No Dutch-language 'nursing home hits', but nice solid pop and rock songs. A golden voice or singing experience is absolutely not a requirement, a good sense all the more!

Always wanted to play in a band? Want to get that guitar out of the attic again? Don't wait any longer, and play along! Let us know what you can and want, and we will help you find the right band mates. You can practice together in one of the professional practice rooms. Working together, or under the guidance of a band coach, everything is possible! People who haven't played for a while, are unsure, or want to expand their possibilities can follow a refresher course.
