January 22 - Ron Griffioen

Ron Griffioen is a cheerful singer-songwriter who loves playing hits from the past and present. But beware, because this often gets his audience singing along. Ron's repertoire includes songs in both English and Dutch, so it's pure and delicious old gold!

January 29 - Button Chain Workshop

During the cheerful workshop Button chain We will string the knots together with some precision in a special way to create a beautiful necklace. Would you like to join us? Registration is required and can be done via mygeneration@amstelring.nl.

February 5 - Party with Interstate 44

Interstate 44 plays distinctive blues, rock, and contemporary music. Their music is perfect for restaurants, music bars, and small theaters. The band consists of John Stevens (vocals/guitar), Guus Baan (lead guitar), Titus Rinia (bass guitar), and René Revers (drums). 

The band's repertoire draws inspiration from the music of Eric Clapton, Fats Domino, the Rolling Stones, Creedance Clearwater Revival, and Santana. The band regularly performs at various venues in the region.

February 12 - Neighborhood Café

Just keep it simple, that's fun!
A chance to catch up; nothing has to be about just being yourself, that's more than enough. Suitable for anyone who enjoys conviviality and cheerful company. Feel free to stop by; you're very welcome.

February 19 - Gerard Koot

Gerard Koot is a singer/guitarist from Hoofddorp. He plays solo and, even without backing tracks, sounds like a one-man band. He uses a loop pedal and drum loops, playing chords, bass, and melody lines on the spot, creating a full-band sound.

For My Generation, he'll play classics from the sixties and seventies, from the Beatles and Bill Withers to CSN&Y and CCR, from Johnny Cash and Johnny Jordaan to John Denver and Tom Jobim, and many more.

February 26 - Sleeping Beauty Workshop

Thanks to Fenna's efforts, the Sleeping Beauty Workshop will once again be very special. Participants will use a photocopy of their own face, which we will make on-site on a photocopier, to trace it in shadow. This will be done on white paper with charcoal and a kneaded eraser, after which the drawing will be fixed.

Want to join in? Wear old clothes and bring a mirror so you can take a good look at your own face.
