Steam lab
- The Cruquius Museum
- Children, young people, Adults, Seniors
Do you want to know how a steam engine works? Then participate in a Steam Lab in Cruquius Museum. There you can play with water, fire and steam. And you learn how the big machine used to work.
Practical
Each afternoon there are four 30-minute practicals. There is room for eight children between the ages of 5 and 12 and their adult supervisors per time slot. The engineer explains the operation of the steam models. He is in the middle of the group. The children sit on benches at the work table and can get to work themselves with the help of their parent or caregiver.
Be on time for the steam lab, see the purchased time slot, and give each other space around the lab. The time slots are: 13.00 to 13.30, 13.30 to 14.00, 14.30 to 15.00 and 15.00 to 15.30.
