Thanks to Sportpark 21 Run, a running festival in Haarlemmermeer

The closure of the Zorg en Zekerheid Circuit can still take place in Haarlemmermeer on Sunday, May 26. A group of enthusiasts has taken the initiative for the first Sportpark 21 Run with a G-Run, GeZZinsloop, 5 kilometers, 10 kilometers and 15 kilometers. Registration is completely online and is now open via the website. You can register up to thirty minutes before the start.

Last year, the Haarlemmermeer Run was part of the Zorg en Zekerheid Circuit for the first time. It was a successful debut and the organization also hosted the award ceremonies of the popular running circuit, as the closing event of the calendar.

OSH Foundation

When AV Haarlemmermeer stopped its collaboration with the organizing foundation, the running competition was suddenly in jeopardy. A group of fanatical runners in Haarlemmermeer, with the former members of the foundation as a base, did not let this happen. They founded the new OSH Foundation (Organization of Sport Events Haarlemmermeer) and, with the support of the municipality and various sponsors, took over the place of the Haarlemmermeer Run on the calendar.

With the start in front of the entrance of Sportpark 21 (Nieuwe Molenaarslaan 10 in Hoofddorp) and the finish in the baseball stadium, the run has a unique location. The routes lead around the beautiful sports complex. A 5-kilometre course has been put together for the three longest distances, which participants complete once, twice or three times, depending on the distance. In the future, the organization would like to expand the course so that each distance has its own route. However, for this they first need a larger volunteer base. Anyone who wants to help with this year's edition can register via mail

Business teams, circuit runners, G-Run and GeZZinsloop

Business teams can also register. They compete with each other in a ranking against other companies and organizations. On the website you can find more information about the various options for the business run.

As the final run of the Zorg en Zekerheid Circuit, many 'circuit runners' also travel to Hoofddorp. For them, this is the last chance to gain points for the rankings. Moreover, they would like to end the series of eight games, which started in November, in a festive manner. The 5 kilometers starts at 11.00:10 am. This is followed by the 11.20 kilometers at 15 am and then the 11.30 kilometers at XNUMX am.

The GeZZinsloop is the fun kick-off to the running event. At 9.15 am it is the turn of the children aged 10 to 12. Fifteen minutes later the start is planned for youth aged 7 to 9. The youngest category from 4 to 6 years old starts at 9.45 am. The G-Run starts at 10.15:1,2 am. The distance in these categories is XNUMX kilometers and participation is free. Of course, dads, moms, grandpas and grandmas can also come along to lend a hand.

Uplifting music

Djembe band Zamana provides exciting music along the course for all distances. Moreover, after the finish, everyone can become acquainted with other sports and the various options at Sportpark 21. Afterwards, the award ceremonies for the various distances will take place, supplemented with the honoring of the champions of the Zorg en Zekerheid Circuit.
