The GIG Haarlemmermeer Foundation announces the 17th edition: 'Feel the Beat'

On December 21, 2025, the GIG Haarlemmermeer Foundation will return with its annual talent show. The benefit show will take place in the Grote Meer (main hall) of the Cpunt Theater. This year's theme is "Feel the Beat." Young people from Haarlemmermeer with unique talents can register now for the 2025 edition. The money raised will support two local charities.

17th edition: Feel the Beat

This year marks the 17th annual benefit evening for the GIG Haarlemmermeer Foundation, where talented young people from Haarlemmermeer are given the opportunity to showcase their talents to a large audience. A diverse range of talents is showcased, from singing and dancing to theater and magic. With the theme "Feel the Beat," GIG invites young people to discover, follow, and share their own rhythm. "Feel" stands for daring to feel, listening to your heart, and daring to express yourself. "The Beat" symbolizes your unique pace, your talent, and the power of performing. On the GIG stage, all of this comes together in one cohesive whole, literally spotlighting the talent of Haarlemmermeer's young people.

Pamper days and new furniture

As it does every year, the foundation is raising money for the local charities Adamas Center and Hospice Bardo. Last year, nearly €7.000 was raised through the show and the GIG Marathon, the 24-hour live radio broadcast that took place at the end of November. The Adamas Center used the money to organize, among other things, "pamper days" for children whose parents have cancer. During these days, people dealing with cancer are given a moment of relaxation. Hospice Bardo invested the money in the gardens and new furniture. This year, the foundation hopes to raise a substantial amount of money again to financially support Adamas Center and Hospice Bardo.
