Proeflokaal de Polderboom is located in a beautiful historic building from 1860, in the center of Hoofddorp. The beautiful building has been serving as a catering facility for more than 150 years. And for several years now Proeflokaal de Polderboom has been shining in the beautiful building. You can go here for a delicious cup of coffee, lunch, dinner or a nice drink. The terrace of the restaurant is located on the sun-drenched Market Square. It is a well-known spot in Haarlemmermeer!

About the owner Jos Bölte

For many, Jos Bölte will be no stranger to the hospitality industry in Hoofddorp. In addition to Proeflokaal de Polderboom Hoofddorp, Jos is also the owner of Joseph aan de Poel in Aalsmeer and former owner of Bar Bistro Joseph and Bar Josephines. When the monumental building in the center of Hoofddorp came up for sale, he immediately knew that this was the place where a cozy bar and restaurant had to be.

Proeflokaal de Polderboom is the place to be for real beer lovers. The bar has no less than ten different beers on tap and these vary per season. In addition, there are also ten specialty beers on the bottle. Not a beer lover, but looking for a nice place to have a drink? Even then Proeflokaal de Polderboom is highly recommended!
