Beinsdorp: a small but charming village in Haarlemmermeer

Beinsdorp is a small village between Nieuw-Vennep and Hillegom and only has about 1000 inhabitants. The name Beinsdorp comes from the largest former island of the Haarlemmermeer. The other islands were Vennip, after which Nieuw-Vennep is named today, and Abbenes. The village is well known among horse lovers thanks to its horse stables. Beinsdorp hosts several annual events, such as music festival Local Live.
