Walk around Buitenschot

The walking route starts at the Oude Raadhuis at Hoofdweg Oostzijde 675 in Hoofddorp. 

Behind the Old Town Hall you see Mill the Firstling lie. This mill is a historical monument in Hoofddorp – and it is still in operation! You can also buy freshly ground flour here, directly from the miller. The mill has a special history. In 1977 it was moved from the center of Hoofddorp to the current location at the Fort near Hoofddorp on the Hoofdvaart. It was a unique move, for a monument weighing no less than 100.000 kilos! 

You will find it near Molen de Eersteling Fortress of Hoofddorp. There is much to experience at this unique location. For example, you can attend all kinds of theater performances and concerts in the open-air theater and view exhibitions in the beautiful monumental building. You can also enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at restaurant Fort NOXX.
