At SKWA you can swim in Hoofddorp in a beautiful indoor pool. You will find no less than four different swimming pools here: a recreational pool – with two slides, a bubble bath and various smaller pools for the kids with a depth of 10, 20 and 40 centimeters – a target group pool, a combination pool and an official competition pool including grandstand for 500 people. Another place to swim outdoors in nature in Haarlemmermeer is the Haarlemmermeerse Bos. This beautiful recreation area is 115 hectares and is located around the recreational lake northwest of Hoofddorp. In the summer, children can enjoy endless water fun in the Spartel pond. Adults can also use the water when the weather is nice: the Haarlemmermeerse Bos has an extra swimming area on the South Beach in addition to the Spartelvijver. The quality of the water is regularly checked for blue-green algae, so that you can swim safely here and enjoy the beautiful nature without any worries.
