Memorial forest as MH17 monument

We all remember it. On July 17, 2014, Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crashed in eastern Ukraine. All 298 people on board were killed. It turned out that the plane was shot down by a missile. Haarlemmermeer has created a memorial forest to commemorate the victims of this flight. 298 trees have been planted in the park. The green ribbon in memory of the victims is a symbolic of each victim. The MH17 monument is also located in Vijfhuizen.
