Active sports in the water or relaxed swimming like a mermaid. Various swimming pools can be found at Sportcomplex Koning Willem Alexander. In one pool you slide down the slide and in the other pool you compete for first place in competitive swimming. The top athletes of the synchronized swimming team also train here. There is plenty of entertainment for children with, for example, a magic show and disco swimming. 

Aqua sports  

Do you find lap swimming boring and do you want a real workout in the water? SKWA is known for its wide range of water sports. From Aqua Combat & Hit to Aqua Bootcamp and Aquadance. The SKWA helps you to choose an activity that suits you. You do this yourself on the website. After answering some simple questions, your suggestion will appear. Ideal for people with choice overload.  

Special activities for children 

Swimming or sports are two wonderful activities, but what makes SKWA special is that they have even more activities. Always wanted to be a mermaid or ride underwater? Step into the mermaid suit or grab the underwater scooter and experience! 
In addition, there are also fun activities for the non-water rats. Go to the magic show of magician Pieter or get ready for the fairytale concert.

Sports hall next to swimming pool Haarlemmermeer 

In addition to the swimming pools, SKWA also has a large sports hall, gymnastics hall and fitness. So it is a real sports hotspot! The gymnastics association SV Pax has 2000 members and gets many children and adults moving. Various ball sports are practiced in the sports hall seven days a week. Basketball, handball, futsal, volleyball and badminton. Something for everyone! There is even a retractable grandstand. For a full grandstand there is room for up to 1500 visitors.
