The hiking forest

You can really relax in the walking forest of Stadspark Hoofddorp. As the oldest forest of the Haarlemmermeer, it has a rich history. Stroll among the 100-year-old trees, along the romantic sloping paths and along the idyllic ponds. The paths connect Station Hoofddorp with Hoofddorp Center and take you past the children's farm De Boerenzwaluw and along the Fruit gardens. The walking forest is also ideal for the active. Running, boot camps, cycling or rollerblading, it's all possible in this green environment.

Fruit gardens

You don't want to miss the Fruit Gardens when you visit Stadspark Hoofddorp. This historic orchard is already a century old, making it the oldest standard fruit orchard in the Netherlands. Admire the fruit trees and feel free to pick apples, blackberries and berries. Spring is the blossom period and the fruit trees are in bloom. That produces beautiful pictures and you don't want to miss it.
