Grazing Swan: Theater Festival on the Kleine Vennep Estate
What is there to experience during Grazing Swan?
Grazende Zwaan is a theatre festival in the polder. This year promises to be a special edition, as Grazende Zwaan is celebrating its 10th anniversary! This is being celebrated with a gift for all visitors. This year, admission to the festival grounds is free!*
For example, you can go to the spectacular theatre of ABSOLUUT., the circus performances of Familia Volante or Compagnie Balthazar, the puppet theatre of Toemla Muziektheater, or the hilarious musical rollercoaster 'Scantare'. If you want to learn more about the 'anti-polder party', go to Polderpolitiek by Dylan Giesbergen and Jordi Budvytis or to the traditional farm concert on Friday evening. This year, the Flemish chansonnier Filip Jordens pays homage to the legendary Jacques Brel.
There are also many workshops again, a theatrical scavenger hunt, and you can get your face painted. Join the food studio by Podium voor Architectuur or have your picture taken on the selfie tractor. Before or after your performance, you can enjoy the singer-songwriters on the atmospheric terrace with a bite and a drink in the sun.
For some performances, you pay for a ticket. Check www.grazendezwaan.nl for more information.
Where and when?
This cheerful theater festival for the whole family takes place annually. Grazing Swan will be held from September 18th to 20th, 2026, at the historic Kleine Vennep farm and estate in Nieuw-Vennep. You'll find this estate in the heart of Haarlemmermeer, on the edge of the brand-new PARK21.
