What can you experience during Kortebaandraverij Hoofddorp 

Curious how exactly such a race works? It's pretty simple! During the competition, two horses compete in a straight line of about 300 meters in length, according to the so-called 'knockout' system. The first horse to win two rounds advances to the next round. 

No more than 24 horses start in the first round of a short course. Horses fall off every round. The winning horses advance to the next round. The starting position for the next round is determined by means of a draw. This draw will take place immediately after the race. During the competition there are several judges who ensure that the horse trots according to the regulations.
