After a few years of standstill, new life has been breathed into De Nieuwe Meerpaal. Giovanni is the new owner and has rolled up his sleeves to form a whole new team. He thinks it is important that young and old are welcome, and this is also reflected in the diverse team. In addition to being the owner, Giovanni is also the chef of the restaurant. Join us in the evening for a mini cheese fondue, prawns or vegetarian carpaccio. Tasty!

Lots of space and possibilities

The main part of the restaurant can accommodate up to 120 people. This does not include the conservatory, café and terrace. Do you have a private gathering or party? Then rent Café Agnes. Here you can enjoy about 15 types of beers and imagine yourself in the atmosphere of a real brown café. Café Agnes is also open as standard from Thursday to Saturday for a game of pool.

Picnic basket, bike rental and high beers

Whoever thought this was all is wrong. There is much more possible at De Nieuwe Meerpaal! You are always welcome for a high tea, high wine or high beer. You can also rent bicycles and soon also scooters. And it will soon be possible to pick up a picnic basket. So are you by boat or by bike and are you hungry? Then come by here. Giovanni is also opening his own snack bar next to the restaurant, for a quick bite or cooling ice cream. So keep an eye on this place, because this will probably not be the last you hear from De Nieuwe Meerpaal.

When are you coming?

The Nieuwe Meerpaal was originally a stopping place where people regained their strength after a long trek. The restaurant still gives this feeling. You can relax here after a long boat trip or bike ride on the Ringvaart. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday for lunch, drinks and dinner.
