Fort NOXX: Robust restaurant in Fort van Hoofddorp

In Fort van Hoofddorp you will find Restaurant Fort NOXX. Here you can have a delicious lunch, drinks and dinner in the robust fortress that is part of the Defense Line of Amsterdam. The new restaurant is located on the first floor and there is a small terrace where you can enjoy the sun at the start of the day. At Fort NOXX there are several rooms that can be used privately by business groups.

Owners Fort NOXX

Martin and Nancy are well-known faces in Hoofddorp. They are driving forces behind catering businesses and events. Since the autumn of 2021, Fort NOXX has been their latest project. It was a challenge to convert the robust concrete building into a catering location. The restaurant exudes warmth, but its industrial value has also been left intact.

On the menu of Fort NOXX you will find all kinds of classics such as a burger, salmon and satay. For lunch there is a wide choice of different toasted sandwiches, such as Italian caprese or French Croque Madame. Or opt for the croquettes on bread and the midday meal. The extensive drinks menu with delicious bitterballen and other fried snacks makes every day a party. Fort NOXX is also well suited for dining out with children. There is a wide choice on the children's menu with snacks, hamburgers and chicken nuggets. For lunch there is a choice of several sandwiches.

Live music at Fort NOXX

Bands are regularly scheduled at Fort NOXX in Hoofddorp. Blues, jazz, gipsy or Dutch pop. Nothing is too crazy and you will be surprised. Something is also organized at Fort NOXX on public holidays such as Easter and King's Day. Check out the Facebook page for current events.

Fortress of Hoofddorp

It has had soul in it for several years now Fortress of Hoofddorp. The entire fort has been renovated and is home to theater projects and art exhibitions. There are regular guided tours to visit the fort. The renovation project once won the Pieter van Vollenhoven Prize for the best restoration in the Netherlands. The fortress island is freely accessible every day of the week. Be sure to visit the wild garden that many volunteers have created. The Fort of Hoofddorp is located near the center of the city. Follow the Geniedijk and you see Windmill de Eerstelling already standing. This mill is located next to the fort.
