At restaurant Lola's you can enjoy the beautiful view over the Kaag. This cozy restaurant is located in Abbenes and has a large terrace. Another unique place is restaurant Long Island in Hoofddorp. This great restaurant is located directly on the Toolenburgerplas. Swimming enthusiasts can dive straight into the water from the spacious terrace, where special swimming lanes have been laid out. Long Island is open for lunch, drinks, dinner, or as a meeting package and location for parties.

At Restaurant Darling you'll be comfortable with a view over the Toolenburgerplas! So you don't just enjoy great food here, but also a beautiful view! Not only is the view beautiful, but also the building itself. The building where the restaurant is housed is shaped like a butterfly. Every Tuesday through Sunday you can relax on the lounge sofa with a glass of wine. And of course, have an extensive dinner!

The old pumping station in Lijnden is an impressive and characteristic building. Here you will find restaurant QuatreBeach, a place with a unique atmosphere. The interior is industrial with a central bar as a striking focal point. Large, colorful flowers on the wall provide a fresh and cheerful touch.
Inside it already feels relaxed, but outside it becomes completely holiday. On the wooden terrace, with real sand, you imagine yourself on the beach.

Later aan 't Water is an atmospheric bar-bistro in Badhoevedorp, right on the water. From the terrace, you have a view of the houseboats and, of course, the many passing sloops and visitors. Here, you can enjoy delicious fish and meat dishes from the charcoal grill. Vegetarians also have plenty of choices. The extensive menu is full of surprising flavors. Inside, there is a warm, familiar atmosphere where convivial togetherness takes center stage. 

Teahouse Cruquius is a cozy spot on the Ringvaart in Cruquiuspaviljoen. It is located next to the old steam pumping station and has a beautiful view over the water. Teahouse Cruquius is a real family business with a warm, personal atmosphere. Rick, José and daughter Lisa have been running the teahouse for more than 35 years. They do this with great pleasure and hospitality, every day again. It is the perfect place for breakfast, high tea, lunch or a cup of coffee. You are also very welcome here after a visit to the museum.
