The Heritage Journal Haarlemmermeer is an educational series about the heritage locations of the Haarlemmermeer. In short episodes you will discover impressive places with special stories. Learn interesting facts about the Dutch Transport Museum, Museum Stoomgemaal Halfweg and CRASH air war and resistance museum '40-'45, among others. News, tips and interesting facts come together every two months in a new exciting episode. Fun for young and old!

Season 3

Season 3 kicks off with a visit to our neighbors in Haarlem! The episode takes you to Paviljoen Welgelegen, it provincial house in Haarlem. Also receives Treasurer Henk Koelman of the Friends of the Stompe Toren Spaarnwoude De Klaverman in Haarlemmermeer's oldest monument. You will receive a nice excursion tip and you will learn more about Fanny Blankers-Koen from Haarlemmermeer, who became the Olympic running champion in 1848.

In episode 2 you will see the newly restored bridge between Halfweg and Zwanenburg, learn more about making monuments more sustainable and get 3 tips for a fun day out. Benjamin will also take you past the oldest pumping station in Haarlemermeer. And finally, the Klaverman visits glass artist Ineke Kamman.

Season 2

Season two kicks off spectacularly with a report on Radio Station P14C. This makes a radio show with World War II equipment. De Klaverman visits heritage volunteer Christopher Klokhuis of Fort Hoofddorp. The broadcast also puts a new partner in the spotlight: Cultural Center Stompe Toren in Spaarnwoude. You also get two golden tips for days out!

In episode 2 you see how Haarlemmermeer changed from an agricultural area into an urban area. De Klaverman visits Mary Hopman of the Stompe Toren in Spaarnwoude. In addition, you will receive two great tips for cultural days out and you will hear the story of pilot John D. Carmichael who crashed in Abbenes in 1945.

In this episode of the Heritage News you can see the opening of the 2023 Cultural season in the Stompe Toren Spaarnwoude. And meet the Klaverman heritage volunteer Bram Verbeek from the Witte Boerderij. The 25th anniversary of the ferry between Cruquius and Haarlem and the renovation of the Fort at Aalsmeer are also discussed. Finally, you will receive two nice tips!

Season 1

In episode 4 of Erfgoed journaal Haarlemmermeer dike warden Rogier van der Sande of the Hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland in Leiden is interviewed. This time De Klaverman meets heritage volunteer Foppe Kamerling from MeerHistorie at De Witte Boerderij. You can also see an exhibition about the air war of May 1940 at CRASH '40-'45 Aalsmouderbrug and NTM Nieuw-Vennep. Mayor Marianne Schuurmans unveils plaque mock airfield Rijsenhout. Finally, you will receive three tips for cool days out in the Haarlemmermeer.

Klaverman visits heritage volunteer Gijs Dirkslager in the Air War and Resistance Museum CRASH '40-'45.
