Galerie De Tuinkamer: art gallery in the middle of Hoofddorp

About the founders

Piet and Els Dees started their home art gallery in 2016. After their retirement they decided to take this step, to turn their hobby into something tangible. Their extended garage and large garden now host four exhibitions a year. Each exhibition shows art by three artists, who exhibit nationally but also internationally. The type of art varies from painting to sculptures and from photography to jewelry.

Special art forms

For the new exhibitions, Piet and Els travel the city and country in search of special art forms. For example, an artist who makes puzzle color etchings. Or an artist who uses a special technique, whereby an object is partially glazed and partially unglazed. The combination of a changing exhibition and special art forms makes this gallery definitely worth a visit!

In addition to the art itself, the gallery also provides an insight into the artists' studios. In a video you will learn about the working process of the different artists. These videos can also be seen on the YouTube channel of Gallery De Tuinkamer.
