Cycling in Haarlemmermeer: ​​Here you can charge your e-bike

Along the Ringvaart there are four charging stations. You can recognize these charging stations by the striking green color and the solar panel on top. The charging stations are located at the following locations:

1. Oude Meer

On the Aalsmeerderdijk, on the transition from Oude Meer to Aalsmeerderbrug, you will find a wonderful place to sit by the water. While you rest here, you can charge your bike at the charging station.

2. Lijnden

On the corner of the Hoofdweg Westzijde, where the Lijnderdijk merges into the Akerdijk, there is another pleasant sitting area on the water with a charging point. Before you continue cycling, be sure to take a look at Gemaal de Lynden and pop onto the terrace at QuatreBeach!

3. Lisserbroek

At the corner of the Lisserweg, where the Lisserdijk changes into the Hillegommerdijk, you will find the third charging point in the municipality. Once again you can sit here on a bench along the water while you wait for your e-bike to be full again.

4. Fort near Heemstede

At the Bennebroekerdijk and the Spaarneweg you will discover Fort bij Heemstede. This is a unique fortress that few people know about. It consists of eight grass-covered bunkers and it is part of the Defense Line of Amsterdam. At this fort you can charge your bicycle at the bicycle charging point while you walk past the bunkers or relax on the bench.

In addition to the four charging stations above, you can also charge your bicycle at Grand Café de Parel on the Ringvaart. This nice cafe has a spacious terrace with a view over the Westeinderplassen. Have a cooling drink and a delicious pastry or sandwich here. As soon as you are fully rested, your bike will have a full battery again.
