Cycling junctions: How does it actually work?

The cycling junction network is a handy way to map out beautiful cycling routes with the help of a route planner. A cycling junction is a numbered intersection or junction between which recreational connecting routes run. You can recognize the routes by a rectangular green-white sign with circled numbers. You cycle from junction to junction using the numbers on the signs. You can make the route as long as you want. Are you a tough guy who wouldn't mind a long day trip by bike? No problem. If you prefer to take it easy, you can cycle part of the route.

Anyone who cycles along the junction network is almost always assured of exciting paths through nature, without cars.
