The Haarlemmermeer forest

At the Paviljoen in the Haarlemmermeerse Bos you will find a large riser where you can enter the water. The large lake in the middle of the forest is a surprisingly beautiful and varied dive site. The clay walls in this lake are between 5 and 9 meters deep. You can find various fish in the water of the Haarlemmermeerse bos. For example, there are pike, perch, roach and crayfish and occasionally even a beautiful catfish.

But that's not all: between the water plants on the shore and on the sandy bottom you will find large zander. If you are lucky you may even see an eel in action, chasing another fish. After your diving session you can relax with a snack and a drink at restaurant Papa's Beach House on the other side of the lake. Please note: the Haarlemmermeerse bos is an official fishing spot. So always keep anglers in mind!

Toolenburgerplas

Another great place to dive in Haarlemmermeer is the Toolenburgerplas in Hoofddorp. This large lake has a depth of no less than 18 meters where there is a lot to discover. The marine life in this large lake is extremely diverse, so you never know what you will encounter during a dive. And a diving course has been set out by diving team Haarlemmermeer. Are you up to the challenge?

In the Toolenburgerplas you will find pike, but there are also eels hidden among the weed. You can also spot zander, carp, bream, roach and catfish here. There are also many freshwater crayfish in the lake. The best time to dive here is in the spring.
