At the end of the route, you and your children are very welcome to bake a Penningsveer Pizza in the wood-fired oven!
Fort Penningsveer is very unique. The 5 hectare nature estate is close to the city and is part of the Dutch Waterlines. The UNESCO heritage is developed by Space Time into a creative landscape in 'space' and 'time' along 3 substantive values: Culture, Nature and Education. It is a place where makers, artists and young people come together to work on creative projects. There is also a group accommodation where you can regularly find groups of children having fun in and around the fort and learning about heritage, art and nature.
