The cycle route starts at Theater van C. on Raadhuisplein in Hoofddorp.

After this you cycle to Mill the Firstling. This mill is a historical monument in Hoofddorp – and it is still in operation! You can also buy freshly ground flour here, directly from the miller. The mill has a special history. In 1977 it was moved from the center of Hoofddorp to the current location at the Fort near Hoofddorp on the Hoofdvaart. It was a unique move, for a monument weighing no less than 100.000 kilos! 
 

After that you will pass it Fortress of Hoofddorp. There is much to experience at this unique location. For example, you can attend theater performances and concerts in the open-air theater and view exhibitions in this beautiful monumental building. You can also enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at restaurant Fort NOXX.
