More Jazz Festival - Free music festival in Haarlemmermeer

What can you experience during Meer Jazz Festival? 

During the Meer Jazz Festival there is plenty to do around the Jazz music genre. This way you can see and hear more than 40 different top bands on different stages, not only indoors but also outdoors. There is also a festive opening and a school band competition every year. You can even participate in the challenging jam sessions and of course there is delicious food and drinks. 
 

This fun multi-day event is suitable for all ages: from young adults to seniors. The festival is organized by the Meer Jazz Foundation. The foundation's mission is to bring jazz and improvised music in Haarlemmermeer to the attention of the wider public.  

For example, they organize the jazz club 'Meer Jazz Café' every two weeks and concerts throughout the year, culminating in the Meer Jazz Festival. This major event is organized every year in May, June or July. A popular part of the festival is the International Big Band Competition. 

Where and when  

The Meer Jazz Festival takes place every year in Haarlemmermeer. Keep an eye on our agenda for the exact date. On these days you can expect about 30 different bands and acts! The performances are held in and around the beautiful hotel De Rustende Jager in Nieuw-Vennep.
